Project Manager III - Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Systems/Manufacturing
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in project management and a desire to work in a team environment that values safety above all else. The Project Manager III will manage the planning, execution, and completion of industrial projects across multiple sites.
Responsibilities- Develop Projects:
Identify and manage project risks. Develop the scope of the project through collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and implement project plans. Specify relevant company and industry standards. Develop RFPs. Identify and facilitate permitting. - Execute Projects:
Manage execution of projects, contracted and in-house resources, prepare execution procedures, specifications, and documentation. Manage EHS at the site and ensure delivery of all EHS targets, embed safety culture, review site EHS, prepare progress reports, punch lists. - Commission and Handover Projects:
Follow up on punch lists, verify project completion, coordinate with stakeholders, maintain comprehensive project documentation for handoff.
- Engineering degree (Bachelor’s).
- 5+ years of experience in industrial project management.
- Successfully managed large, complex projects within budgeted resources to completion with outstanding results.
- Organizational and project management skills, along with effective communication skills.
- Skilled at managing contractors and consultants.
- Experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in the wire manufacturing industry.
- Manufacturing engineering experience.
- Extensive knowledge in steel and concrete.
- Project Management certifications.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures related to facilities management, and life safety monitoring and control systems for equipment.
- Experience reviewing specifications and developing mechanical or electrical layouts.
- Strong computing and software skills including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Travel up to an average of 50% of the time, depending on the specific phase of the project.
