Role Overview:

Responsible for leading the design, analysis, and execution of complex structural systems. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong project ownership, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional project teams, including architects, other consultants, and contractors.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and code requirements with assistance from Senior Engineers.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage and properly execute design requirements on smaller projects with little to no assistance from senior engineers.
  • Give direction to drawing production team, review drawings and prepare them for permit, bidding and construction.
  • Execute construction administration responsibilities including reviewing shop drawings, preparing addenda, and RFI responses, in collaboration with senior engineer.
  • Assist senior engineers in handling complex permitting and regulatory challenges.
  • Produce technical reports, drawings, and documentation for projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Architectural engineering or Civil engineering with a Structural emphasis.
  • Pursuing licensure as professional engineer.
  • Willingness and desire to take ownership of projects, deadlines, and tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, maintain client relationships, and understand their needs
  • Familiarity with Revit software.
  • Familiarity with Analysis software RAM, Risa, Enercalc, etc

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to assist the project team with the estimation and scheduling of project design tasks.
  • Exposure to fieldwork, site visits, and construction sites.

  • Team-oriented, professional, self-starter with a positive attitude and multi-tasking capability.
