What You'll Be Doing

The Vice President-Institutional Equity Agency Trader executes trades for institutional clients in the equity markets. They will work closely with portfolio managers and research analysts to implement investment strategies and achieve optimal execution for client orders. The Institutional Equity Agency Trader deeply understands market dynamics, liquidity, and trading algorithms. They will monitor market trends, analyze trading data, and seek opportunities to improve execution performance.

We're Looking For
  • Trade equities utilizing trading strategies.
  • Research and trade exchange-listed equities based on fundamental and technical analysis of individual stock components.
  • Initiate positions in securities based on technical and fundamental analysis of specific stock, industry, and market conditions.
  • Stay abreast of all capital market developments by constantly monitoring equity and industry research reports.
  • Develop short and long-term strategies to increase the firm’s capital trading.

  • Ability to analyze data quickly and efficiently to make profitable trading decisions.
  • Ability to conduct market research to stay abreast of the economic environment.
  • Ability to design and execute trading strategies.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum

    Required:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum

    Required:

    6+ years of experience in equity trading.
Licenses & Credentials
  • Minimum

    Required:

    FINRA Series 7, 63, and 57.
Systems & Technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiar with trading programs.
