Job Summary

Agency Credit Union (AGCU) is a not-for-profit credit union based in Springfield, MO, serving the Assemblies of God community. We are looking for a courteous, professional teller to greet and serve our members at the Campbell Branch.

Position:
Full-time Teller

Branch:
Campbell (Springfield, MO).

Shift: Opening 7:15 a.m.

- 3:45 p.m.;
Closing 9:15 a.m.

- 5:45 p.m.
Saturday morning rotation included. The teller may be called to work additional hours occasionally to cover for absent employees.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a WOW experience to members during every interaction.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers, building relationships with members.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balances at the end of each shift.
  • Assist members with account applications, product recommendations, check and debit card ordering, electronic banking, and safe deposit box services.
  • Open new members' accounts and provide information about services, directing them to coworkers for detailed assistance.
  • Cross-train within the team and pursue career growth opportunities as new roles become available.
  • Uphold member confidentiality, accuracy, and multi-tasking standards.
  • Serve as an example of integrity and customer service, performing duties correctly even when no one is watching.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience in any field.
  • Previous experience at a credit union or bank is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Symitar/S Jack Henry Episys Quest software is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to make members feel comfortable and confident.
  • Reliability, dependability, honesty, energy, and a willingness to help others.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling financial transactions.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, willing to lead by example.
