The Financial Reporting Assistant supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by providing accurate financial reporting, data analysis, and administrative support to the Finance team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Compiles, reconciles, and validates financial data from multiple internal sources to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
• Assists with the preparation and distribution of recurring financial reports, including monthly and ad hoc reporting requirements.
• Maintains financial spreadsheets, databases, and supporting documentation used for reporting and analysis.
• Supports budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes by gathering and organizing financial information.
• Performs data entry and data verification activities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Collaborates with Finance team members to improve reporting processes, increase efficiency, and ensure data integrity.
• Assists with special projects, reporting requests, and financial analysis as assigned.
• Ensures compliance with established financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Protects highly confidential financial, personnel, and organizational information while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional discretion.
• Fulfills all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• An associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Exhibits strong Mac or PC proficiency and working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn other COH systems as needed.
• Experience in Microsoft D365 F&O systems is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
