Tax Supervisor

KPM is seeking a Tax Supervisor to ensure all tax responsibilities required of assigned accounts are fulfilled, achieving client‑focused service standards and complying with firm standards, policies, and federal and state tax laws. Competitive salary and benefits package.

• Deliver accurate and timely client tax information.
• Prepare complex returns with little supervision.
• Assist with supervising and training staff.
• Meet all client service and compliance deadlines, providing tax expertise to address client needs.
• Maintain current and increase knowledge of subject matter: federal and state tax laws, regulatory and compliance requirements, and tax planning techniques. Take personal responsibility for career development.
• Work with other department staff to provide seamless client service.

• At least 5 years of recent public accounting experience with an emphasis in tax.
• Able to work in a multi‑task environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering results.
• Strong working knowledge of fiduciary tax return preparation and processing in a high‑volume environment.
• Exercises sound judgment in decision‑making, taking into account managing risk and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• BA/BS with a major in accounting & CPA required.
