• Spread and analyze borrower & guarantor financial statements and tax returns.
• Calculate key metrics (liquidity, leverage, profitability, DSCR as applicable) and summarize trends and variances for reviewer consideration.
• Gather, organize, and validate required underwriting information for new and renewal requests; identify missing items early and communicate gaps to the lender/credit team.
• Draft and assemble sections of the bank’s credit memorandum, including clear identification of repayment sources, key strengths/weaknesses, and requested terms for senior review.
• Support collateral and secondary support review by summarizing available information (appraisal highlights, lien position, basic borrowing base information if applicable) and elevating concerns/questions.
• Support portfolio monitoring by maintaining financial reporting and covenant/borrowing base ticklers as assigned; document follow-up actions and exceptions per process.

The Credit Analyst supports the Bank’s lending function by assisting in the analysis of financial information, creditworthiness, and risk associated with consumer and commercial loan requests. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely credit documentation, spreading financial statements, and supporting senior analysts and lenders in underwriting activities. The Credit Analyst develops foundational credit skills while helping ensure loans are structured in a safe, sound, and compliant manner consistent with the Bank’s policies, regulatory requirements, and commitment to serving our communities.
