Variable Hour Substitute Municipal Court Judge

The City of Springfield's Municipal Court is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Variable Hour Substitute Municipal Court Judge
. The Substitute Judge shall serve as Municipal Court Judge while the regular Municipal Court Judge is on vacation or attending various types of educational programs; serve when the regular Municipal Court Judge is absent due to illness; serve when the regular Municipal Court Judge is disqualified from hearing a case; if requested to do so, and serve as nighttime judge during such sessions, Monday through Friday.

• Graduation from an accredited law school;
• At least five years of general law experience.

• Must be licensed to practice law by the State of Missouri and comply with applicable requirements for annual continuing legal education as an attorney and a judge.
