RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)

• 13-week assignment length

• Weekend hours as required by facility

• No call requirements

• Float requirements on rotational basis

• 1 year telemetry experience required, inpatient only

• Experience and competence in drug titration required

• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)

• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (may be obtained prior to start)

• Patient ratios vary:
Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7 (ratios not guaranteed)

• Work with equipment including telemetry, lift equipment, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps

• EMR system: EPIC

• Care for medical, medical telemetry, and respiratory patients

• Dress code:
Black scrubs only

• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available entire orientation week

• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Physical requirements include standing and walking most of duty time, lifting up to 50 lbs, and high risk exposure to blood and body fluids
