As a Behavioral Health Technician I, you'll work in a supportive and fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. Our team is passionate about empowering adults to overcome obstacles and live independently. You'll play a crucial role in helping clients develop essential life skills, build positive relationships, and navigate their journey towards recovery.
** Key Responsibilities **
* ** Provide
* * compassionate support and supervision to adult clients in a residential setting, fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
* ** Encourage
* * and guide clients in developing healthy relationships with peers and staff, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
* ** Assist
* * clients in maintaining a clean and organized living space, ensuring their surroundings contribute to their well-being.
* ** Monitor
* * client progress and update documents accordingly, tracking their growth and successes.
* ** Facilitate
* * engaging groups and activities that focus on building everyday skills, such as meal prep, personal hygiene, and stress management.
* ** Be
* * the 'staff advisor' for assigned clients, advocating on their behalf and ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
* ** Build
* * strong connections with community partners, enabling clients to successfully integrate into society and achieve long-term independence.
** Requirements
*** High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field (psychology, sociology, etc.) preferred.
* Must be 21 years of age
* Must have a high school diploma or GED/HiSet.
* Must have a favorable driving record and valid driver’s license.
