Schedule: Assigned shifts may include day, evening, weekend, or other program shifts based on staffing and client needs.

Living in Victory (LIV) Recovery delivers mission‑driven support for individuals in the early stages of treatment for mental health and substance use challenges. Our team provides a safe, respectful, and structured environment where clients can stabilize, build healthy routines, and move forward in recovery with dignity, accountability, and compassionate support.

LIV Recovery is seeking dependable and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to support clients in a residential recovery setting. BHTs help maintain a safe, calm, and structured environment while supporting person‑centered, recovery‑oriented care. This role is ideal for someone who communicates well, follows through on responsibilities, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals working toward healing and stability.

• Provide respectful, compassionate support to clients as they work toward recovery goals.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment during assigned shifts.
• Monitor client well‑being, complete bed checks and urinalysis as assigned, and report changes in behavior, symptoms, or safety concerns.
• Encourage healthy routines, self‑care, recovery skills, and drug‑ and alcohol‑free living.
• Support individual and group recovery activities and assist with client appointments or program needs as assigned.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of observations, services, incidents, and client needs.
• Communicate professionally with clients, peers, clinical staff, and leadership.
• Follow agency policies and support CARF‑ and CSTAR‑aligned practices in a person‑centered, trauma‑informed manner.

BHTs support services in a way that honors each client’s dignity, preferences, culture, strengths, voice, and recovery goals. The role includes supporting client rights, safety, accessibility, individualized treatment and recovery planning, quality improvement, confidentiality, and timely communication with the care team.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of continuous recovery required.
• Previous experience in behavioral health, recovery, residential care, or a related setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Dependable, alert, and professional throughout assigned shifts.
• Ability to observe client behavior, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and judgment.
• Commitment to supporting individuals in recovery with empathy, consistency, and respect.

This position is performed in a residential recovery environment. The role requires attentiveness, reliability, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to support residents calmly and consistently during assigned shifts.
