Medical Assistant

Unlike traditional high-volume clinics, our providers spend 45 minutes with each patient, allowing you to deliver personalized, relationship-focused care while working alongside a dedicated Primary Care Provider.

As a Medical Assistant, you'll be an essential member of the clinical care team, helping deliver exceptional primary care to Medicare Advantage patients.

• Room patients and perform intake, including vital signs, medical histories, and patient interviews
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and other routine clinical procedures
• Conduct patient screenings, including diabetic retinopathy screenings (training provided) and PHQ-9 depression screenings
• Assist providers during examinations and routine procedures
• Monitor patients throughout appointments and communicate important findings to the Primary Care Provider
• Provide health coaching and education to support healthy lifestyle choices
• Process patient phone messages and communicate results and care instructions
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, bandaging, suture removal, and first aid procedures as directed
• Assist with care gap closures, quality measures, and urgent referrals
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and clinical safety standards

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
• Experience using EClinical
  
  Works (ECW) or a similar EMR
• Comfortable performing phlebotomy (6+ months preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Value-Based Care experience
• Medical Assistant certification or diploma (preferred but not required)

Pay: $20-$24/hour
