Unlike traditional high-volume clinics, our providers spend 45 minutes with each patient, allowing you to deliver personalized, relationship-focused care while working alongside a dedicated Primary Care Provider.
About the RoleAs a Medical Assistant, you'll be an essential member of the clinical care team, helping deliver exceptional primary care to Medicare Advantage patients.
Responsibilities- Room patients and perform intake, including vital signs, medical histories, and patient interviews
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and other routine clinical procedures
- Conduct patient screenings, including diabetic retinopathy screenings (training provided) and PHQ-9 depression screenings
- Assist providers during examinations and routine procedures
- Monitor patients throughout appointments and communicate important findings to the Primary Care Provider
- Provide health coaching and education to support healthy lifestyle choices
- Process patient phone messages and communicate results and care instructions
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, bandaging, suture removal, and first aid procedures as directed
- Assist with care gap closures, quality measures, and urgent referrals
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and clinical safety standards
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
- Experience using EClinical
Works (ECW) or a similar EMR - Comfortable performing phlebotomy (6+ months preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Compassionate and adaptable
- Eager to grow with a rapidly expanding organization
- Experience working with geriatric or senior patients
- Value-Based Care experience
- Medical Assistant certification or diploma (preferred but not required)
Pay: $20-$24/hour
