Full‑Time General Radiology Technologist (Imaging) – Barnes‑Jewish Hospital – Plaza West Tower – Main Floor General Radiology.

Position Details- Day Shift: 4 days per week:
Tuesday – Friday (9:00 am – 7:30 pm) - No call or weekends.
- Extra holiday pay for the three required holidays each year (1 major, 2 minor).
- No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher). If currently enrolled, apply within 6 months of completion.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Radiology Technologist, Radiographer, or image‑tech graduate or student.
- Less than 2 years of experience preferred.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification preferred.
- Illinois IEMA license (excluding MRI) desirable.
The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures for adult and/or pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures; provide clear, professional instructions.
- Perform radiographic imaging examinations independently, including portable exams and other departmental tasks.
