General Radiology Technologist (Tuesday – Friday) - Barnes

Job Title

Full‑Time General Radiology Technologist (Imaging) – Barnes‑Jewish Hospital – Plaza West Tower – Main Floor General Radiology.

• Day Shift: 4 days per week:
  Tuesday – Friday (9:00 am – 7:30 pm)
• No call or weekends.
• Extra holiday pay for the three required holidays each year (1 major, 2 minor).
• No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.

• Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher). If currently enrolled, apply within 6 months of completion.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Radiology Technologist, Radiographer, or image‑tech graduate or student.
• Less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification preferred.
• Illinois IEMA license (excluding MRI) desirable.

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures for adult and/or pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.

• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures; provide clear, professional instructions.
• Perform radiographic imaging examinations independently, including portable exams and other departmental tasks.
