Overview
BJC Health Care System is seeking a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for Barnes-Jewish Hospital – New Plaza West Tower (main level).
Position details include a nightly shift schedule with 36 hours per week, in-house patient care and OR exposure. A sign-on bonus may be offered for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities- Prepare patient and equipment for procedures with high-level customer service and professionalism.
- Perform radiographic imaging examinations independently, including on-call situations and portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
- Work independently in the emergency room when needed and occasionally participate in the Operating Room (OR).
- Utilize Siemens equipment in the ED and a mix of Samsung and Carestream portables.
- Associate degree or higher
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- ARRT registered technologist
