BJC Health Care System is hiring a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist (Weekend Option) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital – Plaza West Tower Radiology - Gen Diag Dept.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates

Weekend Premium Pay: 50% extra on hourly rate for weekend hours (Combine Base Pay + Weekend premium)

Position Details
  • Overnight Shift

    Hours:

    Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (6pm-7:30am)
  • 3 x 13 hour shifts
  • Weekend

    Schedule:

    Work just 3 days a week – maximize your pay and have 4 days off in a row for a great work life balance
  • Full-Time (36 hours per week)
Requirements
  • Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
  • Certification / Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R) or MR
  • One year commitment

Overview

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital pioneered many radiological milestones including work on 3-D treatment planning for cancer, and became the first in Missouri to combine PET and CT scanning.

You will be working with an organization on the leading edge of diagnostic radiology. In fact, our radiology department is regarded as one of the top five in the United States, and performs over 453,000 diagnostic imaging examinations annually.

Preferred Qualifications

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
  • Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
