Description:
Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 to April
1. This position involves coordinating workflow in the central pharmacy. Responsibilities include checking medication products such as IVs, premade IVs, creams, and insulin pens. Checking code carts to ensure they are restocked correctly is also required. The pharmacist will oversee central pharmacy operations. The team consists of multiple pharmacists and technicians on different shifts. There will be oversight of pharmacy technicians, ensuring most pertinent tasks are addressed.
Training will last 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the capability of the pharmacist. The likelihood of extension beyond 13 weeks is very likely if performance is satisfactory. The work environment focuses on high-quality care and patient satisfaction. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic team-oriented atmosphere.
