Staff Pharmacist
Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
Education:
- Required:
Bachelor's in pharmacy
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy - Preferred:
Doctor of Pharmacy
- Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
Experience:
- Required:
No Prior Experience Required - Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training
Skills:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Required:
Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist - ** Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire**
- Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
