Central Service Technician

Pay Range

$18.50 - $26.83 (Actual pay rate will be based on experience, skills, training, certifications, education.)

• Perform a variety of sterile processing functions.
• Assure proper decontamination, quality assurance, and sterilization of equipment.
• Distribute sterile surgical instrumentation to designated areas.
• Identify and remedy equipment failures and hazards that pose potential risks to patients.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of sterile processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Nursing procedures, aseptic technique, medical terminology, infection control.
• Certifications: WI-Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred; IL-Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required within 18 months of employment.
