Cardiac Sonographer

Position Overview

The Cardiac Sonographer performs advanced ultrasound imaging to assist in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. This role requires technical proficiency, patient care skills, and accurate image production. Collaboration with healthcare professionals ensures optimal patient outcomes.

• Operate ultrasound equipment
• Produce diagnostic images
• Follow protocols
• Recognize technical abnormalities
• Ensure safety procedures
• Maintain clear communication with patients and team members to deliver high-quality care.

• Graduate of a Sonography program or on-the-job training with registered preceptor, with no prior experience required.
• Must obtain ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification within 6 months if eligible.
• Hold BLS certification.
• State licensure may be necessary depending on location.
