Job Description:
This Echocardiography Tech position at Mercy Hospital Springfield is an engaging 13-week contract focusing on performing transthoracic echocardiograms across inpatient and outpatient settings. Your responsibilities will include conducting ultrasound exams in a variety of environments, both in the department and on portable units. The schedule consists of 8-hour days, scheduled between 7 am and 7 pm, with weekend and call requirements as dictated by the facility.
Expect to utilize your two years of echocardiography experience and your RDCS or RCS licensure to deliver high-quality imaging that contributes to patient diagnostics. Prepare to work with EPIC electronic medical records and dress in professional scrubs, with a strict dress code. This assignment offers a chance to showcase your technical skills while engaging with a dedicated healthcare team in a community known for its rich history and cultural attractions.
