Job Description
The Medical Transport Specialist is responsible for providing and facilitating non-emergency patient transportation. Responsible for transporting patients from the pickup location to their destination in a timely manner. Maintain a clean vehicle and work space. Responsible for providing kind and safe transportation.
Education:
Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
No previous experience required
Skills:
Calmly and efficiently perform and make appropriate decisions rapidly under stress in emergency situations Ability to work outdoors Ability to follow instructions Is familiar with age specific needs for the patient population served Must be 21 years of age
Licensure/Certification /Registration:
Required:
For-hire driver’s license (Class
E) or greater (CDL). Driving record will be reviewed upon hire, and any previous violations must be approved. Preferred:
Current Missouri licensure as E.M.T.
