Dietary Aide Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is hiring a dependable and compassionate PRN Dietary Aide to support our food service team. Our accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility provides specialized care for children and adolescents ages 6–17. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, support therapeutic diet needs, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals according to scheduled meal times, approved menus, and portion guidelines.
  • Follow recipes, therapeutic diet instructions, and food safety procedures accurately.
  • Assist with preparing menu items such as meats, vegetables, soups, and other resident meals.
  • Support kitchen helpers and team members in following menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
  • Monitor food quality and proper doneness, adjusting cooking equipment as needed.
  • Recalibrate thermometers as required and maintain compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Keep kitchen, dining, and food service areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous food service, dietary, or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow menus, recipes, diet orders, and food safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work PRN shifts based on department needs.

Schedule This is a Full-Time position with shifts scheduled based on department needs and candidate availability. Flexibility is preferred.
