In this position, you will assess, diagnose, and treat clients based on their unique needs. You will utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques to empower clients in developing coping strategies and improving their overall well-being while working under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling in various settings to meet client needs and treatment goals.
- Complete intake/screening and comprehensive assessments as per regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Determine and document diagnoses based on thorough assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in line with appropriate standards.
- Participate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings, offering feedback on pertinent cases.
- Meet department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) requirements.
- Document all provided services in accordance with agency standards.
- Assist clients in their transition process and handle final correspondence.
- Maintain positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers while adhering to agency policies.
- Handle crisis situations as needed and assist in coordinating emergency services.
- Facilitate group counseling, family therapy, and specialty services such as trauma and co-occurring therapy.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential
Qualifications:
- Must possess at least a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Holds provisional licensure with the applicable state board as a professional counselor or social worker (PLPC, LMSW, or PLMFT).
- Must be able to obtain full licensure by completing supervision hours and passing a licensing exam.
- Willing to become licensed in additional states.
- Comfortable providing telehealth services to clients (training provided).
Additional Qualifications:
- Current driver's license with an acceptable driving record and auto insurance.
- Completion of mandatory trainings as required by regulatory standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
- Involves primarily sedentary work with the need to sit most of the time, but may require brief periods of walking or standing.
