The Allied Health Professional / Contract Therapist role is a contract, on-site position based in Springfield, MO. This role focuses on providing direct therapeutic services to adolescents and senior adults, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions aligned with evidence-based treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include completing clinical assessments, documenting progress notes and treatment updates, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, and participating in treatment planning and case review meetings.

The professional will support crisis intervention efforts, help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, and communicate regularly with caregivers, referral sources, and internal stakeholders to coordinate care. The role also involves adhering to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines while contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.

• Clinical therapy and counseling skills, including ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy.
• Experience working with adolescents and/or senior adults in inpatient, residential, or similar behavioral health settings.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, dual diagnosis, and neurocognitive disorders.
• Strong documentation and case management skills, including accurate, timely clinical record-keeping and coordination of services.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and engage with families and caregivers.
• Ability to manage crises, de-escalate challenging situations, and maintain a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment.
• Relevant professional license or certification (e.g., LPC, LCSW, licensed psychologist, or applicable allied health credential) in good standing, as required by Missouri regulations.
• Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
