Support Specialist needed for temporary role in Springfield, Missouri. A child welfare agency is seeking a dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented Support Specialist for an immediate, temporary assignment. This role bridges direct client support and administrative case management. The ideal candidate must be capable of seamlessly fluctuating between serving as a non-clinical hospital sitter in a mental health facility and providing crucial case management support and administrative assistance.

Flexibility is essential, including the ability to work 12-hour shifts for sitter duties, support weekend schedules, and adjust hours (early mornings or late evenings) based on agency needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide non-clinical supervision, companionship, and reassurance to a hospitalized client.
• Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment.
• Remain engaged to observe and report behavior changes to medical staff.
• Complete, organize, and maintain accurate case management documentation and perform general administrative duties including uploading records into the computer system and assisting in obtaining authorizations.
• Transport clients as needed.

Position Requirements:

• BSW
• Background in behavioral health or working as a sitter or caregiver preferred.
• Flexibility: working outside normal working hours and weekends may be required, based on organizational needs.
