Job Overview :

The HR Administrator provides day-to-day human resources support for a fast-paced manufacturing facility, ensuring accurate HR processes, strong employee service, and compliance with company policies and employment regulations. This role supports plant leadership and employees by managing HR transactions, maintaining employee data, and assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and workforce programs that enable safe and efficient operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Enterprise Recruiting Coordination

Provide centralized recruiting coordination support across multiple manufacturing sites.

Manage job postings, applicant tracking workflows, and candidate scheduling for plant leadership.

Partner with HR Managers and hiring supervisors to ensure consistent recruiting processes and candidate experience.

Maintain recruiting trackers and hiring metrics to support workforce planning across sites.

Onboarding & Pre-Employment Administration

Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation for multiple facilities.

Ensure new employees are successfully transitioned into payroll, benefits, and training systems.

Act as a liaison between field HR and candidates during onboarding.

Support development of standardized recruiting and onboarding practices across manufacturing locations.

Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to reduce time-to-fill and improve onboarding efficiency.

Assist with implementation of enterprise HR transformation initiatives related to talent acquisition.

HR Operations & Administration

Maintain employee records, HRIS data entry, and personnel files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Process employment changes including hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and status updates.

Support payroll inputs such as timekeeping updates, job changes, and attendance tracking.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

General knowledge of HR laws, practices and policies required.

Excellent communication skill, including written and verbal.

General knowledge of HRIS systems

Able to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and professional discretion

Ability of multi-task, communicate progress and meet deadlines

Education and Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

1–3+ years of HR administrative or plant HR support experience preferred.

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment.
