Position: HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN - TEMPORARY PART TIME

Human Resources Intern – Human Resources – Part Time, Temporary

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand‑alone, not‑for‑profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO, that focuses on personalized care. Our 25‑inpatient bed facility is a Medicare 4‑star rated and is ranked in the top 1% nationally for Patient Safety, Quality, and Efficiency. Our deep community roots date back as the oldest town west of the Mississippi river and is the first French settlement Missouri with the hospital employing approximately 490 employees and 100 multi‑specialty providers on staff. What to expect as a Human Resources Intern:
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information contained in or pertaining to personnel files
  • Support the Human Resources Department in various areas
  • Accurately and effectively complete onboarding process, including but not limited to conducting reference checks, setting up onboarding appointments, new hire paperwork, and badge printing
  • Ensure job descriptions are signed by department managers, new employees and transferring employees
  • Scanning documentation into employee files
  • Assist with maintaining employee data within the HRIS system
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Basic Skill Set (Read, write, speak English)
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (Junior or Senior preferred) in Human Resources or Business Administration, required.
