Human Resources Generalist - St. Louis, MO

Location: Candidates located in St. Louis are preferred and will be considered ahead of candidates located outside of St. Louis.

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, ADA accommodations, policy implementation, and HR compliance. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and leadership by providing guidance on HR-related matters while ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support ADA accommodation requests and assist with leave administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and support training and development initiatives.
  • Assist with recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and communicate benefit information.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics, including turnover and hiring trends.
  • Support performance management processes and employee evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Basic understanding of employment law and ADA accommodations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • High school diploma required; degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, GPHR) are a plus.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Service Now is preferred but not required.
