Creative Modular Construction (CMC) is seeking an HR Manager to help lead day-to-day HR operations while partnering with leaders across multiple brands and departments. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee development, HR systems, compliance, and workplace culture.
What You'll Do
- Lead and administer the performance management process
, including 30/60/90-day plans, reviews, goal setting, career pathways, feedback, and progressive discipline. - Manage ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HCM systems
, including data integrity, reporting, integrations, troubleshooting, and user support. - Oversee workers’ compensation claims
, return-to-work/light-duty programs, OSHA recordkeeping support, and cost-containment efforts. - Maintain accurate, controlled HR records and documentation in alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Support full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, leaves of absence, and offboarding
. - Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance, policies, and workplace issues.
- Coordinate employee training, competency assessments, and development programs
. - Support CMC’s second-chance employment philosophy and values-driven workplace culture.
- Partner with the HR Director on policies, audits, vendors, compliance, and special projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience
, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity. - Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HCM system
. - Strong knowledge of performance management, employee relations, HR compliance, and HRIS administration.
- Experience with workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
- Manufacturing, construction, or modular industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and document/records control preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Office/Excel skills;
Power BI or analytics experience is a plus. - PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred.
