Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, the Lead BI Developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and preservation of significant enterprise BI reports and dashboards. Closely working with cross-organizational teams, the BI Developer plays an important role in all stages of the report development including requirements analysis, execution, testing, rollout, support and evolution. This position is an onsite role based in Springfield, Missouri.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Partner with cross-functional teams to draw out processes and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics team in the development of the ETL process for robust data models that support analysis.
- Create refined and intuitive business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI dashboards) to provide insights to field representatives, management, and executives.
- Oversee the optimization of the BI platform from a technical architecture perspective to maximize performance.
- Manage data pipeline costs related to the BI platform.
- Facilitate business user access to Snowflake (evaluate needs, outline access) and coordinate with data engineering for EDM team needs.
- Drive rollout strategy and presentation of deliverables, including planning, requirements gathering, testing and implementation.
- Facilitate UAT and QA testing to ensure data integrity.
- Seek ongoing efficiencies to enhance department performance and productivity.
- Support all correspondents and consumers in data utilization, training and documentation.
- Lead partner analytics co-development, standardization and alignment, ensuring partner team code and reporting can be supported by BI and ETL teams.

- Minimum Degree
Required:
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred Degree:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field - 5+ years in development and analysis, preferably in a retail, distribution center, or merchandise planning environment
- Advanced experience with KPIs, report development and analysis
- Experience in Python, SQL, DAX, Power BI, SSRS and other reporting tools
- Understanding of enterprise data warehouse and data pipeline foundations
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Git Lab is an asset
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable in data mining and analytics
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and dynamic requirements
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and flexibility when business needs require immediate changes
- Synergetic and inquisitive thinker focused on continuous growth
