- Serve as the primary IT owner and subject matter expert for the Tecsys Supply Chain platform and related technologies (e.g., scanners, printers, handheld devices, RFID).
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex application and integration issues beyond routine operational support.
- Lead technical design, configuration, and implementation efforts for Tecsys expansions and optimizations, including operating rooms, cath labs, SPD, and warehouse operations.
- Support roadmap initiatives such as RFID point‑of‑use PAR management, warehouse optimization, PAR optimization, and SPD tray automation.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop assigned IT team members supporting Tecsys and supply chain technologies.
- Establish best practices for application support, incident management, change management, and knowledge transfer.
- Elevate the technical capability of the team through coaching, documentation, and hands‑on leadership.
- Act as the primary IT liaison to Tecsys vendors and consulting partners, ensuring accountability, quality delivery, and cost‑effective engagement.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain leadership, clinical stakeholders, and operational teams to align system functionality with business needs.
- Evaluate when work should be performed internally versus externally, with a focus on reducing long‑term consulting dependency.
- Ensure adherence to IT standards, security policies, and change management processes.
- Monitor system performance, support trends, and optimization opportunities to proactively address risks and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with IT management to prioritize initiatives, manage workload, and support enterprise governance processes.
The IT Technical Supervisor is responsible for providing advanced technical support, guidance, and supervision to the aligned IT team(s). This role requires both people‑management skills and a deep understanding of IT architecture and systems. The IT Technical Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of IT systems and services, overseeing user support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and coordinating with vendors when necessary. Additionally, this role involves implementing and enforcing IT policies and procedures, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with the IT Manager to prioritize.
Education& Experience
- Preferred:
Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - Required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role, or healthcare‑related experience. - Prior experience in team leadership, project coordination, and customer support is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and tools.
- Advanced problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- In‑depth technical knowledge of IT applications, systems, infrastructure, and operations.
- Expertise in IT architecture design and implementation.
- Knowledge of process analysis, optimization, and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
