Solutions Engineer

About the Position

The Netskope Solutions Engineer will be the primary point of contact for customers and partners, providing feedback to the Product Management team, resolving customer issues, and advocating on behalf of clients. The role requires frequent travel within the territory and, when necessary, to support company‑wide engagements within the United States.

• Exceed sales targets.
• Articulate the high‑level benefits of Netskope’s architecture to senior security leaders, including CISOs and CIOs.
• Develop best‑practice presentations, demos, and Proof of Concept/Value exercises.
• Assume an active role in regional customer success and resolve satisfaction issues, escalating cross‑functionally when needed.
• Position Netskope’s product as the optimal solution to meet customer requirements and deliver business value.
• Present the cloud security solution to prospective customers.
• Create and deliver product demonstrations.
• Collect and analyze customer technical requirements.
• Participate in trade shows as necessary.
• Provide competitive intelligence and differentiation.
• Design and manage evaluation test plans with customers and partners.
• Lead Proof‑of‑Concepts (POCs).
• Present at conferences and seminars.
• Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs.

• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions or System Engineer with a proven track record of presenting technical information to business or architect audiences.
• Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking to internal and external executive audiences.
• Ability to scale discussions from the whiteboard to influencing CISOs.
• Experience installing, configuring, and administering Linux, macOS, and Windows systems.
• Proficiency with mobile device technologies (MDM/MAM) and operating systems such as Android and iOS.
• Knowledge of certificates, key‑management systems, HSM, and related protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with web proxy, NGFW, security gateways, remote access, site‑to‑site VPN, SAML/SSO, DLP, data security, and regex expressions.
• Experience with Cloud Identity Providers, SCIM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and SD‑WAN deployments and integrations.
• Experience with Active Directory Services, ADFS, and Azure AD.
• Experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of the broader threat landscape and ability to explain complex behaviors simply.
• Travel within region; experience selling cloud‑based technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and REST API frameworks.
• Prior experience with other vendor cloud security solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with security solutions such as Bluecoat, Symantec, McAfee, Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, and relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CCSE, GCFW, PCNSE, JNCIS‑SEC, JNCIP‑ENT, GCIH, etc.).
• Agile Scrum certification (CSPO, CSM, or CSP) or project management certification (PMP).
• Advanced network technology certifications (CCNP, CCIE, CCSP, JNCIE, etc.).

• Relevant bachelor’s degree; preference for computer science or related fields.

Salary range: $177,500—$280,500 USD. Compensation is based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Additional compensation may include bonuses, stock awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
