IT Project Manager
Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Duration: Long term Contract
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to support a Fortune 100 telecom client’s Service Delivery Platform (SDP) Evolution initiative. This high-impact role is embedded within the client’s Shared Services PMO and will lead large-scale, cross‑functional programs focused on modernizing technology platforms, streamlining operations, and accelerating delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep program management expertise, excels in stakeholder engagement, and thrives in fast‑paced environments.
Prior experience with this client is strongly preferred due to the unique pace and culture of the organization.
- Lead strategic programs under the SDP Evolution initiative, driving platform modernization, standardization, compliance, and system decommissioning
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Director‑level stakeholders to align execution with business goals
- Manage complex dependencies across multiple teams and functions
- Develop and maintain RACi charts, program artifacts, and delivery roadmaps
- Identify and proactively resolve roadblocks and delivery impediments
- Ensure consistent communication and reporting across all levels of the organization
- Minimum 6 years of program/project management experience, including large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives
- PMP certification highly preferred;
Agile/CSM/SAFe certifications are a plus - Prior experience with the Fortune 100 telecom client strongly preferred
- Proficiency in JIRA, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to operate independently, drive outcomes, and influence senior stakeholders
