Brief Description

As a Technical Support Technician for DMP, you provide technical assistance and problem resolution to DMP dealers through any supported means of communication. You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a quick and accurate solution to a variety of issues that our dealers face while installing and servicing electronic burglary, fire and access control products.

• Excellent verbal communication skills; able to convey competence, confidence and empathy over any means of communication.
• Demonstrated proficiency in typing.
• High degree of accuracy/detail oriented.
• Ability to troubleshoot or problem solve.
• Ability to learn technical materials quickly.

• Answer technical questions through any means of communication.
• Make customers and their needs a primary focus of actions; develop and sustain productive customer relationships.
• Find solutions, do not leave callers without a resolution or steps to resolution.
• Demonstrate job excellence by taking detailed notes of everything that happens during calls.
• Verify answers are correct by testing or checking documentation.
• Develop knowledge of security industry and its products through dealer interaction.
• Observe and adhere to DMP Data Classification Standard.
