Systems Analyst

Missouri State University is hiring a Systems Analyst. The position involves supporting and providing computer information systems to the campus community, including managing Ellucian's Banner software suite by analyzing processes, configuring systems, resolving problems, and creating reports. The Systems Analyst also leads projects, oversees programming and testing, and supports users through training and troubleshooting.

• Provide and support computer information systems, including Ellucian's Banner software suite.
• Analyze, design, support, document systems, and lead IT projects including programming, testing, and implementation.
• Offer ongoing user support through training, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Required experience with relational databases and proficiency in at least three programming or scripting languages such as PL/SQL, SQL, Argos, App Man, HTML, ASP, .NET, JavaScript, VB Script, XML, CSS, Java, Groovy, Grails, or Oracle tools.
• Minimum two years experience in project management, IT personnel supervision, or database application programming, with at least one year as project lead.
• Preferred experience includes Ellucian’s Banner and Banner’s ODS/EDW, web development, supervisory roles, and higher education work.
• Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with diverse technical knowledge levels.
• Salary range from $63,156 to $66,304, full-time exempt position.
• Position requires availability evenings, nights, and weekends for support and upgrades due to 24-hour university operations.
