Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to provide critical support to clients and account managers. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to proactively assist with account servicing in the commercial lines insurance industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial lines accounts.
  • Support Account Managers with daily account maintenance, including processing endorsements, policy changes, and renewals.
  • Address client inquiries via phone or email and provide resolutions for general insurance-related questions.
  • Maintain accurate and updated client records in the agency management system.
  • Prepare and review client documents such as certificates of insurance, proposals, and summaries.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, endorsements, and policy changes as needed.
  • Aid in account reviews, remarketing efforts, and identifying potential coverage gaps.
  • Stay informed about industry updates and carrier product offerings to enhance client service.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Account Manager or similar role in the commercial lines insurance industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry practices, policies, and products.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS
    360) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting and independently when required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Insurance-related licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty License) or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
