What You'll Do
As aSoftware Quality Assurance Technician, you'll play akeyrole in ensuring our software, mobileapplications, and electronicsecurity products meetthe highest standards before they reachourcustomers. You'll work alongside Product Managers, Software Developers, and Hardware Engineers to identify issues, improveproduct performance, andhelp deliver reliable, innovative solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Perform manual testingon new and existing software and electronic security products.
- Execute functional, regression, performance, usability, and acceptance testing.
- Develop, review, and updatedetailed test plans.
- Document test results and accurately reportdefects using bug-tracking software.
- Reproduce customer-reportedissues and verifysoftware fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
- Participate in projecthandoff meetings and provide testing updates.
- Help improve testing processes and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diplomaor equivalent.
- 1+ years of software quality assuranceor testing experience.
- Degree in atechnology-related field(preferred butnot required).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong critical thinking, investigative, and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional attention todetail.
- Analytical, curious, andeager to learn.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Strong work ethicand the abilityto thrive ina fast-paced, growing organization.
- Passion for learning new technologies andexpandingyour skills.
