Delivery Driver

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a Delivery Driver to provide excellent customer service at our Springfield branch. The successful candidate will handle delivery and warehouse responsibilities, and will lift 50-70 lbs as needed.

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and after-sales services
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross‑sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with team to provide excellent customer service, especially during peak times
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback and resolve client complaints
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

• Prior outdoor supply industry experience (preferred)
• Comfortable working most of shift on feet and performing repetitive physical tasks (stooping, squatting, lifting)
• Comfortable operating and making deliveries on a daily route in an Isuzu NRR 650 or similar commercial vehicle
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 50-70 pounds
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast‑paced environments
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations

• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions (training provided)
• Proven work experience as a Customer Service Associate, Sales Associate, or similar role
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
