WORK STUDY GRANT STUDENTS ONLY
- Housing Maintenance Student Asst
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6-8 hours per week.
Job Summary: Supports the University as a general maintenance/housing helper. Uses college‑provided vehicles and equipment to assist maintenance and grounds personnel as required.

- Assist maintenance and grounds personnel with their various duties as needs dictate.
- Miscellaneous shop clean‑up work.
- Assist in moving equipment and furniture as assigned.
- Assist with snow removal (when applicable fall/spring semesters).
- Assist with recycling in the summer.
Required Skills/Abilities: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All job requirements listed indicate the minimum knowledge, skills, and/or ability deemed necessary to perform the job proficiently. - Ability to be punctual and dependable.
- Ability to accept responsibility for the security of equipment, supplies, and keys.
- Must possess a legal driver’s license and have the ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
- Ability to learn how to use various grounds and maintenance equipment, including a fork truck.
- Ability to courteously use telephone and radio.
Education and Experience:
- Must be a regular, full‑time day school student, enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester.
- Must have a completed FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Department for the current academic year.
