- Housing Maintenance Student Asst

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6-8 hours per week.

Job Summary: Supports the University as a general maintenance/housing helper. Uses college‑provided vehicles and equipment to assist maintenance and grounds personnel as required.

• Assist maintenance and grounds personnel with their various duties as needs dictate.
• Miscellaneous shop clean‑up work.
• Assist in moving equipment and furniture as assigned.
• Assist with snow removal (when applicable fall/spring semesters).
• Assist with recycling in the summer.

Required Skills/Abilities: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Ability to be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to accept responsibility for the security of equipment, supplies, and keys.
• Must possess a legal driver’s license and have the ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
• Ability to learn how to use various grounds and maintenance equipment, including a fork truck.
• Ability to courteously use telephone and radio.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a regular, full‑time day school student, enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester.
• Must have a completed FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Department for the current academic year.
