Position SummaryEstablishes project objectives and manages multiple commercial building projects (typically $5M–$40M). Coordinates with clients and project teams to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Establish overall project objectives for assigned projects
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate administrative/logistical support with Superintendents
- Prepare, maintain, and update project schedules; coordinate with field leadership
- Lead weekly progress/design meetings with owners, consultants, and subcontractors
- Plan and manage procurement of materials and services
- Develop scopes of work and manage vendor/subcontractor coordination
- Manage project costs and participate in accounting updates and approvals
- Schedule and attend job meetings; manage project closeout procedures
- Travel to project sites as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience (7–10 years preferred)
- Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills (scheduling, estimating, value engineering)
- Strong analytical/critical thinking and negotiation skills
- Deadline- and detail-oriented; excellent written and verbal communication
- Software proficiency:
Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project
- Experience managing large, complex projects valued at $10M+.
Work is performed in both office and field environments; travel to project sites may be required.
