Senior Project Manager

Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Our financial services client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Contractor to support large, complex initiatives within a strategic Investment Advisory Platform portfolio. This role will focus on coordinating project activities, supporting cross-functional delivery teams, and ensuring key milestones are executed according to established plans.

This is a contract assignment supporting a high-visibility strategic portfolio. The selected individual will contribute strong project management expertise but will not serve in a formal leadership capacity or hold long-term ownership of enterprise programs.

• Support project teams in identifying tasks, timelines, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment to established project plans.
• Apply standard project management methodologies and risk management concepts.

• Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring defined milestones are tracked and delivered.
• Facilitate communication between delivery teams, business partners, and vendor resources.
• Surface risks, issues, or delays to internal project leadership for review and decision-making.
• Prepare documentation, project updates, and status reporting materials.

• Monitor progress against scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Maintain issue and risk logs; propose mitigation strategies for leadership review.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to project leadership and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8–10+ years of hands‑on project management experience within financial services or similarly regulated environments.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional projects or large program work streams.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Clarity, Jira, Aha!, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to document requirements and support structured decision‑making processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across business and technology stakeholders.

• Experience delivering projects within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Background in investment advisory platforms, wealth management, or fee‑based financial products.
