Hybrid - 3days onsite; 2days remote

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team, where your expertise will directly contribute to improving health outcomes for patients with complex, chronic conditions and rare diseases. This role offers the opportunity to plan, lead, organize, and motivate project teams to deliver high performance and quality, creating business value for internal and external users and stakeholders. This Project Manager may be responsible for managing several concurrent, high-visibility projects, using both agile and traditional project management methods in a fast-paced environment spanning multiple business units.

The Senior Project Manager may include several different roles:

  • At a wider business level
    , leading and managing large, complex projects consisting of multiple project teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the teams.
  • At a team level
    , playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team.
  • In situations that require a hybrid project approach
    , using good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve the project goals within designated project constraints.

This role will be hybrid, based at our regional office in the Midwest and will be required in the office a minimum of three days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Active Project Planning and Management – Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working sessions; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues, and perform delivery planning for assigned projects and work streams. Continually adapts to change and plans work based on available resources.
  • Team Management – Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing impediments to their work, using resources effectively, improving capacity for project work, and mentoring and developing team members. Understand the team's skills and use them effectively.
  • Product Owner Support – Support the Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.
  • Process Management and Improvement – Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for project management, including communication, planning, and collaboration.
  • Team Building – Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project/work stream and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.
  • Client Implementation – Develop an implementation playbook that ensures flawless execution and implementation of new clients and programs.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables, and identify necessary resources.
  • Lead end-to-end project execution across the entire project life cycle (ideation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing).
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and actively address issues and obstacles as they arise to keep the project on track.
  • Set up and run suitable decision-making, communication, and reporting channels.
  • Support the definition of requirements with Product Owners and Subject Matter experts across the business.
  • Manage risks and issues on projects and work streams, anticipating and mitigating them when appropriate.
