Missouri State University

Executive Director of Engagement and Alumni Relations

Bryant Group is proud to announce a partnership with Missouri State University in the search for a dynamic and mission‑driven leader to serve as Executive Director of Engagement and Alumni Relations. This role sits within the Office of University Advancement and serves as the strategic engine behind how Missouri State connects with its alumni community — building the kind of lasting relationships that translate into loyalty, volunteerism and sustained support for the institution.

Reporting directly to the Vice President for University Advancement, the Executive Director will set the vision and strategy for alumni engagement across a large and diverse constituency. This senior leader oversees alumni programming, affinity groups, the Alumni Association board of directors, student and young alumni engagement and the annual Homecoming experience. Leading a team of associate and assistant directors, the Executive Director works in close partnership with Admissions, Career Services, Athletics and academic colleges to create meaningful touchpoints that keep alumni connected to Missouri State throughout their lives.

The ideal candidate understands how to turn alumni affinity into activity, bringing strong instincts for engagement strategy and the interpersonal presence to inspire volunteers and partners across a large, diverse community. A track record of leading high‑performing teams and experience working across a university environment will be essential to success in this role.
