Job Description
We are seeking a Service Supervisor to work directly with our customer‑facing service team both on route and in‑house. In this role you will supervise the service team that provides customer service, sales, and pick‑up and delivery of products to our customers. You will hire, train, develop, and evaluate service staff to ensure customers receive the highest level of service and product quality in the most efficient manner.
You will also drive a company‑owned vehicle to and from customer sites and assist the team with lifting, carrying, and walking in and out of customer accounts.
This position will oversee several key service‑department areas including maintaining excellent customer relationships, handling renewals of customer contracts, increasing internal sales, maintaining an efficient route structure, and ensuring driver compliance.
Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the service team on route and in‑house.
- Hire, train, develop, and evaluate team members.
- Drive company‑owned vehicle to customer sites.
- Assist with lifting, carrying, and walking in and out of customer accounts.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and handle contract renewals.
- Increase internal sales and ensure efficient route structure.
- Ensure driver compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- High School Diploma or GED;
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Have an active driver’s license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Obtain DOT medical certification before first day of employment.
- Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
- Experience working in a sales‑related role.
- Customer service experience, preferably in an industrial or service industry.
- Training or instructor experience.
