Overview
CSI is seeking an organized and creative Material Expediter to support the Purchasing team by ensuring the timely and accurate flow of materials from suppliers to CSI facilities. This role requires understanding of manufacturing job processes, distribution operations, and how material availability impacts production schedules, inventory levels, and customer commitments.
Responsibilities- Track purchase orders and expedite material deliveries to prevent delays.
- Resolve supply-related issues and support data integrity within CSI’s ERP system.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain on-time job execution and order fulfillment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within ERP and related processes.

Salary: $23 - $25 per hour. This is an onsite position.
Education/Training- High School Diploma or Equivalent, required
- 2+ years of experience in material expediting, purchasing, or supply chain support
- Computer proficiency with Word and Excel, required
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems required
- Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or construction environments preferred
- Sanitary stainless-steel background helpful
More than 40 hours per week may occasionally be required to achieve productivity. Overnight travel, weekend and holiday hours may be required but are not anticipated. This position may require staying stationary for long periods, close visual acuity, and frequent computer use. Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds may be required.
