The CNC Machinist has a vital role in ensuring precision and efficiency in machining operations and supporting our mission to deliver high-quality products to our customers. This position involves setting up and operating CNC machines, performing in-process inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Operate and set up CNC machines, including those with Fanuc, Haas, and Mitsubishi controls.
- Perform setups involving chuck changing, collet changing, tool arrangements, and tool touch-offs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, sketches, and related technical data, including GD&T tolerances.
- Conduct first-article and in-process inspections, accurately document inspection data, and maintain precise part counts.
- Adjust machine speeds and feeds for turning and milling operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform daily machine maintenance, including maintaining fluid levels and recognizing and replacing worn cutters and tool bits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

- Preferred 3 years’ experience in CNC setup and operations.
- Proficiency with machine shop mathematics, calculations, and measuring tools.
- Familiarity with GD&T tolerances and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
