Job Description
Aerotek is currently hiring for an aviation‑adjacent manufacturing company in St. Charles. Candidates with any experience in assembly and interest in quality inspection will be considered for these long‑term roles.
Assemblers will be:
- Using microscopes on a daily basis
- Working in a team‑oriented environment, performing tasks associated with the fabrication of laser diode bars, laser diode arrays, or laser diode pumped gain modules
- Fabricating laser diode bars
- Fabricating hard and/or soft solder mounted bar assemblies
- Preparing mechanical parts for laser diode array and subassembly builds
- Building laser diode arrays
- Assembling and testing CW gain modules
Shift: Either Monday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Friday, 4:30 pm - 3:00 am.
Work in a climate‑controlled, clean room environment where lab coats are required. Immediate on‑the‑job training is provided to help you swiftly adapt to the high‑tech manufacturing setting.
