Job Purpose

Directly responsible for the complete operation of a designated production area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Oversee the daily scheduling of production lines using published production backlog

* Assist in hiring decisions and the selection of department personnel for assignment of duties, promotion, transfer, and discharge, including evaluations and performance reviews

* Maintain product quality using workmanship standards, assembly instructions, test procedures, and other applicable documentation

* Conduct training of assigned personnel

* Maintain safety of work area according to company safety requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

This position contains supervisory responsibilities

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2-4 years related experience in production field

* 1-year supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize work

* Ability to communicate effectively with subordinates, co-workers, management, vendors, and customers

* Work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
