* Summary:

** To support manufacturing operations by maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing all facilities and manufacturing equipment in a safe and orderly fashion as directed by the maintenance area/shift leader.

* Job Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair problems on plant facilities and production equipment of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic in nature.  2.
Troubleshoot tooling issues.  3.
Assists in the implementations and improvement of effective preventive maintenance programs for all equipment, performing scheduled maintenance on facilities and production equipment as required.  4.
Handle tooling setup, basic operation of equipment  5.
Assist in dimensional improvements requiring tooling shim moves to improve part quality.  6.
Maintain and update equipment records, shim logs, schematics, blueprints, and files in orderly fashion  7.
Obtain and attend training for professional development and to stay current on maintenance and safety requirements and other training as required.  8.
Complete all work in accordance with OSHA, NEC, JIC and DNR standards and regulations  9.
Complete correspondence, forms and reports using personal computer and required software  10.
Maintain department repair parts stock and inventory  11.
Handle confidential information on a regular basis  12.
To work in a safe, quality minded, and productive manner with a sense of urgency to achieve maintenance deadlines and to attain production priorities as scheduled.  13.
Attend daily pre-shift meetings and carry out assigned workloads as directed by shift/area leaders.

Communicates with maintenance manager and maintenance area/shift leaders, and other plant personnel about maintenance concerns, providing complete action plans and status reports as and when required.  15.
