Materials Handler -Weekends

The Material handler position is a physically demanding role which requires long hours of standing, bending, and heavy lifting.

• Work independently or with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Assure that all products meet the highest standard or quality.
• Perform pre-inspection of materials to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements.
• Assure that materials stocked at workstations match the production specification sheet.
• Adhere to all company rules and policies.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Ensure that work practices align with OSHA standards.
• Understand measurements using standard or metric measuring devices.
• Use pallet jacks and forklifts to stock products and materials at appropriate locations.
• Operate a hoist properly and safely.
• Distribute insulated cores to winders as per supervisor’s instruction.
• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Set up winding machine, understand settings & functions, and ensure the machine runs properly to avoid unnecessary downtime.
• Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection of cores and materials.
• Perform Total Preventive Maintenance duties.

• Be punctual, reliable, and have a good work ethic.
• Work well with others and foster teamwork.
• Motivated and able to work independently.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read, use, and understand measuring devices.
